CICS in collaboration with A Safe Space to be Me

The Cross Border Centre of Excellence in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy is a first-of-its-kind specialist training hub designed specifically for practitioners across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

There is a growing, unmet demand for qualified psychosexual and relationship therapists across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This programme directly addresses that gap.

It is not a replication of an England-based model, it is a bespoke, contextually grounded training, designed specifically for the realities of practice across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Based outside Belfast, this Centre of Excellence brings together:

  • The clinical authority and specialist training expertise of CICS.
  • The regional credibility and training excellence of A Safe Space to be Me.

A Safe Space to be Me is a recognised training provider in Northern Ireland, delivering professional training for nearly a decade, and an approved provider with the NCPS, giving this programme a strong and trusted foundation within the local and cross-border professional community.

Strategically located for accessibility across Northern Ireland & the Republic of Ireland

Our Centre of Excellence isbased just outside Belfast, offering an accessible and financially viableoption for practitioners across the island.

Compared to training in England:

  • Lower travel and accommodation costs
