ONLINE WORKSHOP
Therapists can understandably feel anxious when faced with the themes of historical childhood sexual abuse and sexual violence in our client work. We can worry about whether or not to disclose, how to record our sessions and how to work therapeutically without compromising a client's court case.
In this online training we will address those concerns and provide essential information and practice guidance to ensure therapists feel safe in this work.
Even if we don't actively choose to work with these themes, those of us who work with sexual issues or with couples might find that clients bring these experiences to us anyway. And those of us who work with general counselling themes will inevitably work with clients who have been affected by childhood sexual abuse.
